The story
David Moyes has confirmed that Jack Grealish will remain unavailable for Everton’s Premier League match against Coventry.
BBC Sport reports that Grealish missed Everton’s two recent matches against Newcastle following a breach of club discipline. Moyes had previously said the midfielder still had a future at the club.
No return date confirmed
Speaking before Friday’s game, the Everton manager said Grealish was not available and that the club would work with him again soon. He did not set out a timetable for a return to the team.
The immediate selection consequence is that Everton must prepare for Coventry without the on-loan Manchester City player. Any later return remains dependent on a further update from the club.
