S2G hold a direct place in the PGC grand finals

The story

S2G Esports have the host-nation wildcard for the PUBG Global Championship 2026 grand finals in Istanbul.

KRAFTON’s October announcement awards the place following S2G’s regional performance at the PUBG EMEA Championship: Fall. The direct grand-final slot covers the December 11–13 championship stage.

An established place before the world final

The wildcard gives S2G a different route from teams qualifying through the wider season. It is a confirmed invitation, rather than a prediction about how the team will perform at the championship.

This preview revisits the organiser’s latest verified wildcard announcement as the season moves towards PGC. The original announcement date is retained so readers can distinguish a newly published MatchPulse preview from a new decision by KRAFTON.
