The story
NAVI’s MPL Indonesia Season 18 playoff opener against Alter Ego was scheduled for November 6 as a best-of-five series.
The organisation’s match preview says NAVI entered in the second round thanks to their regular-season performance. Alter Ego reached the meeting after defeating ONIC 3–1.
A demanding recent matchup
NAVI had won only two of the previous nine meetings listed in their preview, although the most recent encounter went their way. That combination gave the series both a difficult historical backdrop and a more encouraging immediate reference point.
The preview listed a 07:00 CET start. It does not supply a result for the playoff match itself, so the pre-match record should not be confused with the outcome of Friday’s series.
